Bert Hart is responsible for the overall operations and strategic planning of Gastroenterology Associates and Louisiana Endoscopy Center, Inc. Bert brings a variety of health care experience to Digestive Health Center of Louisiana from clinical and corporate settings in large inpatient facility delivery systems to Third Party Administrator (TPA) medical management administration.

Prunie Gremillion, BSN, RN, CGRN, CPC, CGCS
Director, Revenue Management
Prunie is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the revenue and reimbursement processes for this organization. She was the first nurse certified in Gastroenterology Nursing in the State of Louisiana. Prunie is a certified coder and takes an active role in ICD-9 and CPT coding within the organization. Prunie is past officer of the Louisiana Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates.

ENDOSCOPY SERVICES COORDINATOR
As Coordinator of Endoscopy Services for Louisiana Endoscopy Center, Inc., Tammy is responsible for coordinating the daily activities, as well as the nursing & medical staff schedules of the center. She assists and works closely with the other management team members to maintain the standards of patient care. Tammy has served as President of the Louisiana Society of Gastroenterology Nurses.

Laura manages the Clinical Areas of Gastroenterology Associates. She is responsible for the overall coordination of the Nursing Staff, Laboratory Services, and Research Division.

Darla Brown
OFFICE MANAGER
Joined Gastroenterology Associates in 1988. Darla manages the admission, reception and business functions of the Digestive Health Center of Louisiana. Darla’s responsibilities also include coordination of the Health Information Management process. Darla is directly responsible for the non-medical supply procurement and general physical plant management.
DeWanna Babin, PHR
Director, HUMAN RESOURCES
DeWanna coordinates the human resource functions of the organization. DeWanna is responsible for all processes related to the recruitment, employment and staff development processes. DeWanna is also responsible for the benefit coordination and administration for the employee group of Gastroenterology Associates and Louisiana Endoscopy Center, Inc.

Theresa LeVert, RN, CCP-P, ACLS
PI/QA COORDINATOR / PRIVACY OFFICER
Theresa coordinates all protected health information (PHI) releases in accordance with HIPAA and state guidelines. She facilitates all process improvement committees. Theresa aggregates and analyzes data collected through the PI/QA process and assists with development of process improvement plans. She instructs staff in CPR, ACLS, HIPAA, safety programs, and other continuing education in accordance with OSHA guidelines.

INSURANCE/BILLING MANAGER
Janet is responsible for the Insurance and Billing Department of Digestive Health Center of Louisiana. This includes oversight of posting of all charges and revenue received, filing of insurance claims, follow-up on unpaid claims, billing of individuals, and appeals on denied claims.

Chris works closely with the team to help develop successful educational programs that foster a positive learning environment for the overweight and obese population. In addition, he helps organize and develop marketing and educational materials for the center.
Michael Smith
INFORMATION SYSTEMS ANALYST / SUPPORT
Michael is responsible for all data management and integrity at Digestive Health Center of Louisiana. He is also responsible for maintenance of VOIP Network, security formats and processes within the organization.
