Janet Lost 70.2 Pounds

I have tried all my adult life to control my weight without success. In desperation, I asked my cardiologist’s advice on losing enough weight to prevent an early death. He suggested I look in the O.N.E. Weigh program.
I began my new way of living the week before 4 th of July weekend. On the 4 th , everyone comes to our house for an annual barbeque. I survived that by sitting out back and avoiding the temptation. I realized that if I could overcome my habits of overeating on that one day, I could do it again.
The months passed and the pounds went away. I made small goals, and when I reached one I would set new one. When I began, I weighed 323 pounds and was dependent on a cane to walk 95% of the time. I haven’t used that can in three months and do not plan on doing so again.
